Appointed as voluntary administrators of JobCo Employment Services Inc (JobCo), a sizable charity which was also Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
We were appointed as voluntary administrators of JobCo Employment Services Inc (JobCo), a sizable charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-For-Profits Commission (ACNC). Before our appointment, JobCo was in the process of winding down its charity programs and services related to Disability Employment Services, the National Disability Insurance Scheme, and Job Services. At the time of administration, JobCo was also a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
As an RTO, JobCo offered accredited training programs in mental health and early childhood education. The organisation held VET funding contracts for delivering government-subsidised training. Under our administration, JobCo continued to deliver its education programs to minimise disruption for students while we explored options for a sale or restructure. When it became clear that selling or restructuring the RTO was unfeasible, we collaborated with the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions to ensure affected students timely communications on finding alternative RTO providers to continue their studies.
JobCo transitioned into liquidation and as appointed liquidators, we are currently investigating the JobCo’s affairs and will provide a report to creditors and stakeholders in the coming months.
